لماذا تنجح المطالبات من Würzburg Hauptbahnhof

أسباب التأخيرات هنا موثقة جيدًا - ولا شيء منها خطؤك:

  • Heavy ICE traffic on the Frankfurt-Nuremberg Neubaustrecke
  • Junction delays where Stuttgart-Nuremberg and Frankfurt-Nuremberg routes meet
  • Cascading delays from late ICE trains on the high-speed line
  • Infrastructure maintenance on the original Main Valley line

هذه الأسباب لا تعفي المشغّل من المسؤولية. الازدحام ومشاكل البنية التحتية مسؤولية المشغّل.

    أسئلتك، إجابات مباشرة

My ICE from Frankfurt to Nuremberg stopped at Würzburg and was late. Can I claim?

Yes. Würzburg is on one of Germany's busiest ICE high-speed lines. If you boarded or alighted here and arrived at your ticketed destination 60 minutes or more late, you can claim 25% of your ticket price back. 120 minutes or more gets you 50%.

A TGV from Paris passed through Würzburg and arrived late in Munich. Are international passengers covered?

Yes. EU Regulation 2021/782 covers international journeys within the EU. A Paris-Munich TGV or ICE running via Strasbourg and Würzburg is fully covered. The claim goes to the carrier that issued your ticket.

Why is the Frankfurt-Nuremberg line via Würzburg so delay-prone?

The Frankfurt-Nuremberg Neubaustrecke (high-speed line) is one of Germany's most heavily used ICE corridors. It sees trains from Paris, Frankfurt, Hamburg, and Berlin all converging on Nuremberg via this route. The junction near Würzburg where the Stuttgart line joins adds further complexity, and maintenance closures on the older Main Valley line divert extra traffic onto the high-speed line.

I was on a DB Regio train from Würzburg to Schweinfurt. Is that covered?

Würzburg to Schweinfurt is about 45 km, which is under the 75 km threshold for EU compensation. Short regional journeys under 75 km are not covered by EU Regulation 2021/782.

DB says my delay was under 60 minutes, but I waited much longer. What can I do?

DB measures delay at the final destination, not at intermediate stops. If you feel their stated delay is wrong, you can request the official delay certificate (Fahrgastrechte-Formular) and challenge it. We can help you document and escalate the dispute.
